Tales of a city girl lost in suburbia…

Once upon a time there was a girl who spent her life in one borough of New York City or another. Life with her family on the Upper East Side was delightful and never did a green lawn or new construction tempt her away. Then, like the proverbial Charlie of the Angels, a boy, well, a husband, took her “away from all that.” The next thing you know, she was looking for a house in the suburbs to go with a new job and presumably, a brand new life. And not the New York suburbs either—which are really New York City North and West. No,  a real honest to goodness, brand new suburb far away from the metropolitan area. Included here are the terribly true tales and observations from circling the parking lot of suburban life, looking for a spot to fit in. You’ll find that being even the sanest person in New York makes you the craziest person in the suburbs.
